The immediate and dramatic results you have are not unusual. Mine happened that way too.
Many here describe gradual and iffy improvement, but I'm happy for you.

Toooooo sad about the incorrect dx of depression.
We have lots of educating to do.
Now to get to the business of putting the pieces together again. lots of luck
