Follow-up questions

Posted by SleepyTimeGal on November 13, 2001 at 15:23:53:

I've had my CPAP for a little over two weeks and adjusting well, but I have questions on follow-up. No one -- either doctor or sleep clinic - has mentioned any follow-up visit and I get the feeling from this board that I should have one to see if my oxygen levels come up with the CPAP and whether it is reducing or eliminating the apneic episodes, of which I had 97 an hour during the test and an oxygen saturation level of 80. Should I be contacting my doctor to insist on this?

My doctor is a family doctor, not a sleep specialist.

I am so grateful to this board -- you've no idea!!

Kathleen
