Swallow Reflux

Posted by Slyderman on November 13, 2001 at 15:56:30:

I've recently had my pressure increased to 11 and since then have really had a problem with gas(almost blowing the sheets off)! I believe the problem stems from a swallow reflux I have, you know much like when you go to the dentist and they are working in your mouth. The harder you try not to do, the more you instinctively do it. I've read past forums on aerophagia and have seen the posts regarding propping up the bed a few inches. I have a converted waterbed frame which makes this hard to, and I'm not sure this would solve my swallow reflux and the inevitable gulp of air that goes with it. Has anyone experienced this and have any idea how to correct? Any help would be appreciated as my wife likes the sheets still on the bed LOL.
