CPAP is wonderful. I would nominate the inventor for a Nobel Prize.
My symptoms were severe and the impact of sleep deprivation were having a big impact on my quality of life.
I wondered about the mask ( though I have worked in metallurgical plants for most of my career so am used to the idea of wearing a mask/respirator).

I now sleep wonderfully, my memory is recovering, my energy levels are returning and I am back to my freindly self ( the irritable bastard who had taken over my body is gone). I dont get daily headaches , I dont wake up to pee multiple times, I dont drench my sheets in sweat and I dont deafen my family and neighbors with my snore.

I read the difficulties some have and I understand and empathise with them though I have been lucky that I have had few issues and enormous benefits.

I think that the greater the impact of the symptoms on you, the greater the potential gains of CPAP and therefore the greater tolerance of some of the annoying issues associated with it.

My only dread is the thought of ever getting caught without power or my CPAP and having to return to that pre CPAP sleep quality - even for one night.

Regards and best wishes

Mike
