Hi dawn,

Yup, ive often had to pull over to have a sleep too. I feel really vulnerable sleeping in the car, so i try to make it that i get to somewhere quiet but populated. Im sure people must think im some weirdo. As it is now, im not allowed to drive except around our town, so its not a problem anymore, but not being able to drive is a huge problem. Im hoping at my check up after being on the machine for 6 weeks they will let me drive again, though to be honest, i really think that its still too early cos im still very tired and sleepy. But i know what you mean, and really i think if youre getting that tired, probly you shouldnt be driving either. Could you get them to lower the pressure a bit? jumping from 8 to 14 seems big, not that i really now what it means. Im on 13.5 pressure, and its only been 3 weeks but sometimes i wake up and im not even sure its working, ive got so used to it. I remember at the beginning though it was awful. Do you have a ramp thing on your unit? I still use mine, though i think i wouldnt have to anymore, but i prefer it still. I remember in the first week a few nights there turning the ramp on time and time again, until id done it for 5 times. In the end i got up and stayed up until i literally couldnt stay awake any longer, and then that time i got to sleep. If i wasnt asleep before it got to full blast, which takes 15 minutes on my machine, then that was it, i couldnt get to sleep, and i couldnt be awake either and have it on cos it panicked me. But give it time, 3 weeks into it and the full pressure is no problem for me anymore.

hugs
katie
