I too have only been going for a couple of weeks, but before I left the sleep centre that had already informed me that I had an appointment with them in 8 weeks and that I and my machine WILL appear at the appointed time and that they would contact my employer if I thought there would be any trouble making he appointment.

They have also set up a weekly "clinic" where you can go in and see the nurse who conducted the sleep study and is an accredited technician and clinician without having to get an appointment with the specialist first. This means you should be able to see a trained medical worker within 5 days max rather than waiting the usual 2 weeks to 3 months. Apparently the Drs like the system because they don't get bothered with "trivial" questions, not that they are trivial to us the patients!
