New CPAP User

My name is Mike, I have a sleep disorder. (Everyone: Hi Mike) For as long as I can remember, though my memory isn't good,(imagine that) I have been sleepy, fatigued, in pain, and groggy in general. Recently I was properly diagnosed, after years of mis-diagnosis (thanks a lot) went through 2 studies, got the CPAP with nasal pillows, having great difficulty sleeping. I have the ability to take the entire headgear off without fully waking up. Neat eh? I have had it for 2 weeks and rarely do I sleep with it more than one or two hours. The first few days were horrible. Things are a bit better now. I have the breathing through mouth problem described by other posters. Think I will try the Mirage FF. Seems like a heated humidifier is the way to go. Right now I attempt to simulate that with my un-heated humidifier. Does anyone have any advice for me? I know I must stick with it, it is my only hope. Thanks, Mikee
