I didn't but I should have. 5 years ago I went to a HMO doctor asking for a sleep study. He "looked" at me in the examining room and said there was no way I had that problem. I wasn't old enough and wasn't over weight. He did have some nice prescriptions for me though to reduce my symptoms and perpetuate the problem.
This year on advice from an Apnea sufferer I went to a specialist. He immediately pointed out 4 things that were obvious to him and scheduled a sleep study. He said my obvious physical characteristics would make me a classic sleep study case.
In case you didn't know HMO stands for "Hell's Medical Orginization". Mikee
