Doctors/Not-Doctors

Respectfully disagreeing with you on a couple of points -- we refer to people as 'doctor' when they have achieved that level of education, whether their doctorate degree is in medicine, music, philosphy or mud-pie baking. The term 'doctor' refers to a degree.

I agree that many medical doctors are unworthy of respect; however, to refuse to use the title of Doctor for someone simply because their degree is in music or some other field is highly disrespectful to that person.
