CPAP-Will I wake up

I have been on the cpap machine 3 nights now. I have no problem sleeping with it except having to wake to adjust the tubing. My concern is that last night I didn't set my alarm clock and slept 11 hours. The phone rang and woke me. I felt very drugged and didn't want to wake, could hardly force my eyes open. If not for the phone ringing, I wonder if I would have slept round-the-clock. Is this normal or something to be concerned about. It's a little scarey to me.
