I had the same problem with the Reflux/swallowing trouble. After the endoscopy & up GI, they told me about the hiatal hernea & reflux errosion. I didn't need the esophegeal dilation, however, after 4 months of daily prilosec & CPAP, the swallowing problems are gone and the reflux is minimized. Follow your GI Mds advice on this very carefully so you don't develop any future problems.
