Right, I screamed and got hysterical during my cpap test, too. I was so wound up the sleep tech was totally entertained and had to exert considerable self control not to laugh at me. I had complete and total panic like a claustrophobia attack. However, even after a night staring at the mask as if it was a tarantula, I did eventually make friends with it and the use of CPAP turned my life around--I lost 110 pounds, regained energy and am soooo grateful, can't imagine life without it.

SO hang in there! And do go over the forums to get great advice on choosing your machine and mask. Good luck!
