John, I'm going to dentist who specializes in Sleep Apnea devices this Week. I am also having a hard time tolerating the cpap. This dentist in Pennsylvania only charges $1000.00 total. At least that is what I was told over the phone whne I made the appointment. $125 for the first consultation, then $850 for the device. I'm checking with my insurance tomorrow. Some insurances will cover it if your doctor writes a medical nessicity letter stating that you cannot tolerate the cpap and this is your next option. From the research that I've done, this seems much better than surgery. Especially, if your apnea is mild to moderate. Mine is severe, but I'm going to try it anyway. Good Luck, Shottzy
