I have now been on CPAP for 4 days after being told that %55 of the time at night that I am not breathing. I have been told that I have Serious Sleep Apnea. So far I am not too fond of this treatment. I find I wake up in the morning the same with no difference in how I feel. I usually sleep on my side and I find that wearing CPAP I cannot which is uncomfortable. When I wake up and take the mask off it smells like burnt dust or something and my nose is stuffy. I have always had a crooked nose and one nostral airway is bigger than the other. I find laying on my right side I can breath the easiest but my wife says that it doesnt matter that I stop beathing in any position.

With CPAP I dont know if it is really helping. I use the ramp feature to get to sleep and they which sets the system to 5. When I wake the top back of my throat is a little dry. All I can think of is whats next or what else can I do so that I dont have to be darth vader every night.
