When I had my UP3, the surgeon (otolaryngologist?) did an excellent job (so say others who have looked in my mouth) One said it was an "aggressive" surgery (meaning - I think - a lot of tissue was removed.) Unfortunately, the surgery did not help my OSA a bit. I believe the surgery is why I need to tape my lips shut when I use my CPAP. I can't get a good fit with a full face mask, including series 2, but that's another story. My tongue doesn't make a seal with the top of my mouth when I sleep. The air just blows out between my lips. You could probably find some less bitter folks on the non-CPAP forum on this site. They might be able to recommend someone. Good luck.
