Help! Hubby needs to be tested

Posted by Carla on December 06, 2001 at 22:22:39:

I have sleep apnea & am on CPAP. I think my husband does too. But I can't get him to acknowledge it or go in for testing. He doesn't want to use the CPAP.

He has high blood pressure, sleeps like a log, has apneas during the night. Recently he has complained of aching very badly. Especially his arms and his legs. He has mental fogginess. No energy. Guys I know this is classic symptoms of sleep apnea. But what can I do to convince him?
His personality has even changed.

We even saw something on the news tonight about people w/sleep apnea. He just nods like he understands, but he won't do anything about it.

What should I do. I want him to be with me for a long time.

Any suggestions will be muchly appreciated.

Thanks
