Turn on your CPAP and take the end of the hose and stick it in a bucket of water. Push the end of hose into the water until that point at which the air bubbles barely stop. Measure how many centimeters deep the hose went into the water. You want to measure the pressure using the hose that is ordinarly connected to the CPAP, not a "standard" diameter.

Do not fool with the pressure setting of your machine. Without a more scientific setup this method just yields a reasonable estimate. Your DME should do all pressure settings using the proper calibrated equipment.
