cures

Posted by TM on December 07, 2001 at 21:13:18:

I was wandering if anyone new of any surgical cure for OSA. I have had the usual tonsils, uvala, upper palate thing done in '94. Ihad a sleep study done this last spring and was found to be worse than prior to the surgurey. I have been on the CPAP since. It does the job, just can't seem to tolerate the mask for more than six hours. My pulmonary doc says the machine is the standard treatment. Just wanted to know if anyone had found any alternatives. Thanks.
