How close is the heating pad to the humidifier? I gather that you added hose to the six foot hose. Does that have any effect on the CPAP pressure? Does the heating pad dryout the humidifier? I would think that it does, but I do not understand physics.
I used an oasis for a while that was not heated. I heated the water in it. Of course it cooled down. But it was absolutely wonderful when I first put in the hot water.

Now I am using a Fisher and Paykel. Can I put really hot water in that or will that damage the chamber?
