There is (or was) an electrically heated hose available a couple years ago, I think from F&P. I saw it at a couple sleep meetings.

Some of the rainout problem is do to the dew point in the room. F&P - no I don't work for them or have stock in the company - has a new heated humidifier that also samples the temp and humidity of the bedroom and uses that data to determine the heat output into the humidifier. I've only seen preliminary data, not from actual longterm patient use, but it looked pretty good.
