Autoset T data and pulse/ox data

Posted by westernjoe on December 19, 2001 at 19:50:52:

I've got an autoset T but dont have the software yet. Wouldnt it be extremly helpful to have pulse/ox data right along side of everything else? Maybe they can make a mask that has those sensors on it, and a machine that has a connector for them next to the hose outlet. The wires could go down the side of the hose. The 02 info is very important to see that everything is working right. Does anyone out there use a separate pulse/ox meter along side their cpap and match up the data?

This leads to another question: Since apnea causes constant wakinges and low 02, does anyone know which of these things affects us more? Which creates more symptoms? If a person has constant wakeings but has good 02 all night, do they have much less symptoms? Sleep techs should know this right?
