Selecting the Gear Today

Posted by Spleep, what is spleep? (Fawlty Towers) on December 20, 2001 at 01:47:58:

Well, going to see the DME today and select the equipment. It seems that here on Ontario, the Dr's and DME's pushing only cpap, and discounting acpap. Any comments? The DME is recommending the Remstar, with heated humidifier. The DME that is local is Medi-Gas. Does anyone have any comments about the Remstar and/or Medigas? I'll let you know how night one goes tomorrow. The pressure is being set at 6 until the titration study is done in a few weeks. So we'll see how it goes. I had an AHI of 86...yikes!!
