I have the Resmed S6 Elite CPAP with the Humidaire heated humidifier. I really like the combination - it is very quiet, adjusts for small leaks and altitude, the humidifier is easy to clean and refill. However, one drawback is that the CPAP requires an inverter to run on battery power. That is a bigger pain if you do a lot of camping.

I use the Ultra Mirage nasal mask and really like it. The only problem I have had with that selection was a few weeks back when I got a bad cold and couldn't get my passages cleared. I think I need to get a full face mask as a backup. The only other cold I had while on CPAP was ok - I was able to get my nose cleared before donning the apparel. Once I got the CPAP on, my passages stayed clear.

Many on this forum like nasal pillows. I have not tried those and am happy enough with the nasal mask at this point, that I probably will not thy them. Masks are very hard for others to recommend - masks fit different face shapes in different ways. You will just have to try until you find something that works for you. You might want to start with the most popular ones mentioned in this forum (search on mask).

Good luck.
