Why not get your doctor to check your daytime oxygen levels. That would give you a baseline in order to asertain if you truly need daytime oxygen.Since you obviously had a sleep study check back with them as to you need for daytime oxygen.As far as the dentist he probably gave you some happy juice mixed in with the oxygen.Believe me when i tell you i use daytime oxygen and it is both expensive and a pain in the neck to deal with.
