I used a oxygen concentrator for 18 months instead of CPAP and it worked very well for me. But I got so tired of the concentrator when I traveled. It is the difference to me of havin g to have a forklift to get it in the car to a carry on bag for the CPAP. I didn't use it during the day at all. Concentrators are big, heavy noisy, and use a lot of electricy. I keepdt it in the bathroom to muffel the noise and its one advantage to me other than no jet piolet mask only a cannulla was that it heated up the bathroom nicely.
