I can relate to the puffy, bags (both above and below the eyes. For me, part of it is caused from all the strapping ( headgear, strap over mouth, and wide chinstrap) scrunching up my face, esp. around my eyes. That alone caused many wrinkles (I used to have no wrinkles or bags around my eyes). Then when my pressure was increased from 8 to 14 I started getting massive puffy eyes, to the point that my upper eyelids laid on my lashes, and looked like pillows - under my eyes was not much better. In the mornings I put coldpacks on to bring down the swelling. So, the stretching and shrinking of the tissues each day caused even more wrinkling (thankfully I seldom get the massive puffiness anymore). I swear I have aged years in the 3 months I have been on CPAP, solely because of what it has done around my eye area. I am not happy about it, but try to accept it, because the alternative is to do without CPAP, and return to CHF and a much shorter life.
