The doctor finally confirmed that I need a CPAP. BUT, my question is this: how hard is it to get the DME to handle all the insurance issues? I am not sure how my insurance company is going to pay on this. I told the nurse I wanted the heated humidifier and she said the insurance company usually requires an Act of God to pay for it. Any suggestions on getting things processed faster? I can't wait to get the machine and start sleeping!!!! The DME said they had a Profile Lite that had the heated humidifier that everyone really likes. Any comments on this type of machine? What about masks? I used just a nasal mask at the hospital and I tend to breathe through my mouth. I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!
