Use a Full Face Mask. This is exactly why I insisted on one up front over two years ago. I know that I have nose and nasal problems. The sinus problems do occur when using a nasal mask.

May I suggest the Mirage Full Face mask, get the new one (series 2). You also need to have it fitted as there are three sizes, and two types of cushions.

Once in the FF mask - just mouth breath. That takes the sinuses right out of the equation. You will need a heated humidifier (probably set on high) as the mouth tends to dry out otherwise. Learn to rig the hoses to control gurgling (my runs down my side and drains down to the heated humidifier).

Hope this helps.
