New Medicare Guidelines

Posted by georgiagirl on January 02, 2002 at 10:31:43:

Does ANYONE out there in CPAP-land know WHEN the new Medicare Guidelines (apneas/hypopneas >15) take effect? I have called Medicare and they have nothing except the usual 30 apneas/hr. to qualify for CPAP paid by them. Maybe you DME's have received something on this. I would certainly appreciate any info you have as I am being held up pending some sort of resolution as to guidelines. Many thanks in advance!
