Sleeping Well with Cpap but don't feel different

Posted by Jim C on January 02, 2002 at 14:58:09:

I was diagnosed with Sleep Apena about a month ago and was experiencing 87 events per hour. I have been using a goodnight 418 with a pressure of 12 and have been sleeping well through the night. I was sleeping 5 or 6 hours a night before Cpap and now I'm sleeping for 8 or 9 hours. While I'm sleeping well I don't really feel any different than before. I'm still sleepy during the day. Should I feel different now, or does this take some time for the body to adust? I have a follow up with the Dr in a week. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
