If air is literally going through your throat and the eustacian tube and out your ears, you must have a perforated ear drum. This with sinus infection symptoms could mean some serious problems from infection. Such infections could (potentially) move to your brain (meningitis or encephalitis). If you did not have a pre-existing problem with your eardrum, and you have 'sinus' pain on that side, get to an ER!!
If the air is causing popping or discomfort but not actually flowing through the ear, it can wait for an office visit. Also if the air flow is from a leak and is actually flowing from the mask around your face to the ear area.
Good luck!
