Well, persistence pays off! After e-mailing and telephoning all day, I finally got an answer to the date the new CPAP guidelines take effect. One of a CPAP manufacturer's reimbursement personnel was kind enough to give me the following link to the proper Medicare site which gives a date of April 1, 2002.
