First of all, I would have never made it thru the first week without a heated humidifier. 2 nights had me dried out real bad. The heated humidifier took care of that original problem. But, then I started having chronic sinus infections, which I never had, previously. Oddly, enough, I never had traditional type colds, just blocked up sinuses. I had a septoplasty and a somnoplasty done to my upper palate and my tongue. I was able to get my already mild apnea reduced to under cpap level. I started using it again due to REM issues and the chronic sinus issues started again with it. My last sleep test also showed that my PLM got worse while on cpap...go figure!! I think losing 10 pounds or so will do the trick!! Seeing my ENT Monday to get his prognosis...

Good luck,
Kevin
