Night time congestion

Posted by FreddyFreed on January 11, 2002 at 11:03:21:

I'm finding my congestion gets worse at night. If I lay on my back flat, with CPAP and no pillow, I get really congested. Yet, if I use a decent size pillow with CPAP, and spray my nose with Nasonex, my congestion decreases. I'm concerned that I may be blocking the airway by having my head in a tilted position. Is there such a thing as positional congestion? Is this a problem, and if so, is there a solution?
