Studies on autoCPAP vs. CPAP

Posted by Oscar on January 11, 2002 at 17:06:00:

Just did my sleep test Tuesday evening. Will be several days yet before results flow to the sleep specialist and my primary doctor.

Have read several posting saying people liked the change from CPAP to autoCPAP. However, don't have any real "hard" reasons, evidence, or studies that show it might be best to start out with an autoCPAP rather than a standard CPAP.

Are there any links to medical studies, or lists of reasons published that I could provide to my doctor if needed?

Thanks,

Oscar
