I am not sure that I specifically recomended the 418P over the others. But I will admit that it has features that some of the other AutoCPAPs do not.

However, to answer your question:

The 418P is compatable with all mask, nasal pillows, and humidifiers.

If you have a humidifier please insure that you get the extension tube for the pressure feedback tube (this allows you to reach arrond the humidifier with the pressure sensor tube.

I recommend the software with all AutoCPAPs. A normal computer store cable will work - but the Mallinckrodt cable is usually reasonably priced. (you should be able to get a kit from a vendor with the machine, hose, manuals, cable, and extension sensor tube as one package). You will need a Dr's prescription for the software.

An 8 ft hose (with sensor tube) is available as an option. However, that would probably have to be ordered by mose DME's.
