Early on very few doctors much less layman such as us knew anything about sleep apnia.In Fact i think i had diabeties for at least 5 or 10 years before i was diagnosed and treated for it and i was into CHF before i was diagnosed with sleep apnia.In fact my first sleep study at a V.A. hospital was a joke and it was another 2 or 3 years before i had a serious sleep study and received treatment for it
