I second what Pat said - clean tanks, hoses, and and mask as needed. The mask needs to be reasonably clean to seal, the hoses and water tank do not need to be cleaned weekly if you use distilled water. You should disconnect and hang up the hose each day to let it dry out. The one item you do need to check on a regular basis that can effect your health is the air intake filter on your machine.

Follow the manufacturers instructions for your equipment. Some filters are made to be replaced and others to be cleaned - this is probably the most important (and neglected) part of CPAP hygene.
