Hi Jim,
I have my ENT appointment in a few hours. I have tried all sorts of positions but not really to any avail. What makes the matter worse is that i do have a deal of pain from one shoulder so this cuts down my options. The doc has agreed to send me to the physio though so perhaps that will help matters.I have been referred to a shrink to help with anxiety and I am due to start on seraton in a couple of days. I do actually suffer , and have done for a LONG time from a chronic anxiety disorder and the shrink wants too see the ENT report too see if the throat constriction which is part of the anxiety maybe causing a lot of the problems. I thibnk its probably down to chickens and eggs though when it comes to OSA and anxiety. But it's always possible I suppose. A constricted throat with extra powerful diaphragm muscles and lung capacity.
What really helped last night was a nice long massage, particularly a head massage. My wife although untrained is very good at this and also very supportive. SO although there was yet another sleepless night at I least I was relaxed enough not to do the nocturnal raging and wandering the flat like a caged animal bit.
Thanks for the concern Jim
