Hello wolfgang,

Glad to hear that you're finally getting in to see the ENT. How did it go?

Before you see the shrink, do a thorough search of the last 5 to 10 forums using "depression", "anxiety", or similar key words. Many of us have had impressive turnarounds in our depression/anxiety after starting treatment for apnea. I won't take time here, but by reading the various posts you will gain a better understanding of why. I also believe that there are some links posted about medical studies that show a tiein between depression and apnea. Print these out and take them to show the shrink. It may be the shrink instead of the ENT who really pushes to identify the cause (get tested) and help you get the proper treatment.

Sandman has started a new forum so we may have to continue in forum 83.
