Thank you for your input. I think my spouse's hemoglobin and hct have been minimally off for say 1.5 yrs now. No real increase, but when his pcp suggested he seek a hemotologist opinion I about passed out.. my experience is a hemo see's someone with cancer. To make a long story short, the hemottologist has no real idea either as my husband does not have heart or pulminary disease. which can tend to cause increased hemoglobin. Good luck to you and thank for your input. Maybe this will help put the puzzle pieces together.
