Thank you for all the information --all is very helpful. If I am lucky like my father they will skip the CPAP & just do the surgery. They mentioned my uvula is hanging too low & may need to be shaved or removed & that that CAT Scan indicated the cartlidge in my nose crooked & blocking out oxygen--my doctor is a plastic surgeon & can go in & fix that. My fried Jan had sleep apnea--doctor told her too young to have to deal with living with the oxygen mask every night of her life. I am younger than her & I would rather have the surgery. My appt. is Feb. 22nd--will keep you post dated. Again Amy thank you for the help--I understand it a whole lot better now.
