Check w. your DME to see if they have a angled attachment piece that goes between the nasal pillow elbow holder and the CPAP tubing that will work with your unit. (white expandable tubing that attaches to the elbow with a aqua colored coupler) It gives more of a obtuse 90 degree angle (think of a capital L with the long part leaning slightly backward) which relieves the pressure of the nasal pillows against the nasal lining. Some how the DME I use conveniently forgot to provide this to me when I got my nasal pillows. Since I got the attachment (about a month now) I have not experienced any more of the irritation or burning of the nasal lining.
