What does HYPOPNEAS mean???

Posted by Sleepy Rick on January 31, 2002 at 14:27:41:

I was looking at my study results and noticed the apnea index listed I had two things going on. One was # of obstructive episodes and the other was # of hypopneas. I was wondering what a hypopneas was? The # of hypopneas was higher than the # of obstructive episodes so that got me wondering since I thought there was only one type of obstructive sleep apnea. Thanks.
