Autopap vs Cpap- I need a 5 during non-rem and an 11 during ReM because of that difference, I am a candidate for Autopap. If you have a greater need on your back for instance (many people ahve worse apnea sleeping on their back, that would also suggest an Autopap) However, if it shows that a pressure of 8 or 10 or 12 takes care of the problem and there is not a big discrepancy like I had in mine, they will order a CPAP. The bi Pap I understand is when people have a high pressure and it is difficult to exhale, then the pressure reduces on the exhale to help you breathe. In any regard, however, I used the autoset T and it was great, the information was extensive. ( There is a great post a few forums back that had some website information showing the actual stats from 3 of the different autopaps and autoset T was one of them. Check it out.
I'm sure you will get lots of other informaiton but I thought I would share my experience. Good luck.
