Posted by aussie on February 08, 2002 at 20:36:26:Greetings,
just thought that i would ask some advice.....(this is a long story!).
About 4 years ago I had a sleep study done and the doctor stated that I had only mild sleep apnoea. Sometime after I had another test done this time with a cpap. The results were absolutely amazing. I felt like I was a human calculating machine (I work in finance so that makes sense). Anyway i bought a machine and had about 3 great sleeps with it - after that it has been poor. I have never used it allot because of the lack of results since however I figure that I am still having problems> When I use it now which is infrequently I wake up and find that I have taken the mask off. I think the doctor may have been right in that I only have a mild case but the effects of this on me can be quite devastating. Anyway I am back to using it and recently found I kept waking up with the mask off and I put it back on. It seems to help somewhat but I always find it hard to use.any ideas or any similar experiences????
