I had a tiny sore spot like when you have a cold this morning. Burned a little and was red. It was on the outside of my nostril. I've been up for 3 hours now and it's fine again. I was so afraid it would fall off my head during the night but it didn't. This is wonderful. No sore teeth, gums, marks all over my face, my hair being pulled by velcro, red mark on my forehead from the gel, etc. The small barely goes in my nose, my nostrils are very narrow and small. How will I know if I need bigger ones? Do you mean my nose will hurt inside? From the air? Or outside from being pushed and pulled? I think it's ok but will I know right away? Or could a problem develop over the next few days. My teeth and gums had started hurting the very first night. I was so afraid I wouldn't be able to breathe and it would wake me up because the airflow seemed so much stronger than w/the mask but I slept wonderful and I took a 2 mile walk this morning. I haven't lost any weight yet, they say I might, it's only been 10 days on cpap but I sure am full of energy. I never saw how deteriorated I was until I got this cpap, thank God for cpap and sleep studies, and my Dr. who finally figured out it was apnea and not my thyroid disease tearing me up like it was. Sorry, I just had to get all that out. Have a great day, and thanks for your knowledge out there, I really appreciate all the advice.
