I am in process of buying a machine. Could you buy a heated humidifier/combo, and use it as a pssive by not using heat, or do you need a passive, larger surface area, for it to work? I like cool air, and need to know if the heated humidifier might end up being cooling, since the vapor has 6 feet in which to cool down, possibly being cooler than the passive??
