I am always skeptical of results of a single, isolated study. Most of what I have read recently says that most people need 8-9 hours of sleep. The new study may be valid, but I will keep a skeptical attitude until I have seen details of the study, along with analysis of other experts in the field. My own experience is that I feel like crap when I get less than 8, and I feel really good if I can 9 every night.
