Does anyone else get clumsy once they get overtired? I start banging into things, dropping things. Im also doing silly things like walking out of the house and forgetting my keys, or putting the milk in the pantry instead of the fridge, but i dont think thats cos of lack of sleep, just cos im really distracted about this guy ive met, grin. But the clumsiness, thats one way that i know that i really need to make the effort to get some sleep.
Im finding that i still have to nap once i get home from work sometimes too. But i think thats cos with my job, i get up at 5am, and im going to bed about 10pm, and im not getting enough sleep.
I just cant believe how much better things are than they used to be. I could never have done this job before. Its ok being tired when you actually have a reasonable explanation for it. September last year, i was trying to study, and falling asleep about 8 times a day, and having to nap for hours. What a huge difference. Sometimes its really good to take the time out to reflect on the change, so that you notice it, and savour it. That was something i learnt off reno tom, and thats where the sleep diary helped me the most, and kept my hopes up, cos i was able to see that there really was improvements at that early stage.
To all those wondering about improvements, its really a matter of just keeping on keeping on. You just have to trust it for a little while, and keep an accurate diary so that you notice the smallest of changes. It really does get better.
